These are not vacancies: there is no company behind them, no start date and no way to apply.
€14.96 – €16.50
Observed range: both ends come from the ads reviewed on August 16, 2026, not from a recommended band.
Line work in factories: feeding the machine, visual checks, packing and palletising. Eight of the fourteen ads reviewed are production roles, and this is where people without a trade get in. The range stretches a long way at the top when the client is a large industrial site on continuous shifts: the best paid in the sample, in Hamburg, reached €24.85 an hour, but required continuous shift work and a medical clearance, so it is not the figure to expect from a first job. It is also the block where a German requirement appears least often: three of the eight production ads gave no level at all.
Temporary agency work in Germany has its own minimum wage, above the general one: €15.33 gross per hour from September 1, 2026. An offer below that figure is not a bargain, it is illegal. It is the first thing worth checking, and it applies to all five profiles on this page.
